Good to know.

Everything you might want to check before you round up the group chat.

Is Miflo free?

Yes. Miflo is free to download and play.

What do I need to play?

An iPhone, or a laptop or iPad in a browser. On a phone, Miflo is the app: it works offline and keeps your streaks. On a bigger screen you can play the same games at miflo.dk/games, where there is room for a full board.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no login and no sign-up. Open the app, pick a nickname, and you're in. Your progress lives on your phone rather than in an account. On the web you play as a guest: today's board survives a refresh, but streaks and friends need an account, which is coming to the web with the next app update.

How do I have friends if there's no login?

When you turn on Friends, Miflo gives you a personal friend code. Share it, add someone else's code, and once they accept you can see each other's daily results and streaks. Because there's no account, it all lives on your phone, so deleting or reinstalling the app resets your friends, streaks and history. See the guide for the full picture.

Which games are there?

Eight. Four are daily solo puzzles you play on your own: Scout, Top Bins, Journeyman and Team Sheet. Four are for playing together: Hattrick, Offside, Cult Hero and Red Card. All eight are playable in a browser at miflo.dk/games as well as in the app.

Can we play on a big screen, like a quiz?

Yes, and it is the best way to play with a group. Open Offside or Red Card on a laptop or a TV, and everyone else joins from their own phone by scanning the code or going to miflo.dk/r. The big screen shows the game and everyone answers on their phone. It suits a classroom or a room full of people, where passing one screen around does not.

How do the daily games and streaks work?

Every day there's one puzzle per daily game, the same for everyone, and your streak grows each day you solve it inside the limit. Keep it clean enough and the streak carries over. The Log in your profile keeps a record of every day you've played.

Do you have every footballer? Can I request one?

We don't have every player, and we won't pretend to. We focus on well-known players from the top leagues and keep adding more over time. If someone's missing, send us the name through feedback and we'll look at adding them.

Do new players and games need an App Store update?

Almost never. New players, fixes, and the artwork that goes with them (player pictures, club crests and flags) all reach the app on their own, usually within a minute. Only a brand-new game needs an App Store update.

What languages is Miflo in?

The app is in English and Danish and follows your phone's language. The website is English only for now.

Is it on Android?

There is no Android app yet. In the meantime the games are playable in any browser at miflo.dk/games, on a laptop or a tablet.

What data do you collect?

As little as possible. No email, no phone number, no real name, no tracking and no ads. The privacy policy explains exactly what the app and this site do with information.
